Unemployment is high, GDP is low. But could it be a blessing in disguise? As people grow increasingly more reluctant to spend that hard-earned dollar, quality goods become a hot commodity. Deals are a must. And maybe some of those recently laid-off bankers will realize their latent talent for sculpting.
